I removed the "hide"after the MultiM component and went to Control panel and clicked Accessories & utilities and I then could see the multimedia subcomponent and Sound Recorder. They advised that the Sysoc,ini file should be edited. ![]() I also went to Dell's site and there was a question about not being able to remove or install certain window componets. All missing/corrupt protected system files will be restored.
